Course Description

 The main focus in taking this class is to educate all who a part of this class on the importance of developing a healthy lifestyle.  Our health and how we take care of ourselves should be one of our top priorities.  In this class we will teach you the components that are needed in developing a healthy lifestyle and you will become familiar with the concept of Lifetime Fitness. You will learn that having a sedentary lifestyle and having poor nutrition habits can contribute to chronic illnesses like Diabetes, Obesity, Cardiovascular diseases, etc.  You will also learn that leading an active lifestyle and putting into practice proper nutrition and exercise habits are the keys to lifetime fitness.
