Southern Methodist University Presenter Mickey Saloma - May 2014 »
On May 12, 2014 VMHS GEAR UP students got a chance to hear a presentation from Southern Methodist University representative Mickey Saloma. His presentation entitled, "College 101:What the College Brochures Don't Tell You!" was a fun and motivating presentation that answered many of the students questions about what it is like to go away to college. The students were amazed at the amount of information that he shared since many of them had never though of situations they might encounter once they are on the college campus! Thank you to Mr. Mickey Saloma for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit our campus and share his insight with our students about college life!
