Course Description
Note to parents and students:
ENGLISH I STAAR EXAM will be taking place on Monday MARCH 30, 2015. Students should be attending tutoring available on Mondays and Thursdays 4:20-5:20.
***TUTORING WILL BE AVAILABLE EVERY DAY AFTER SCHOOL (4:20-5:20) FROM MARCH 23, 2015 THROUGH MARCH 27, 2015. STUDENTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO STAY FOR HELP IN ANY STAAR RELATED AREA.***
**UPDATE: The last SATURDAY tutoring session for the STAAR exam will be available this Saturday March 28, 2015 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Students are highly encouraged to attend since it is taking place only 2 days before they take the exam and the information could stay fresh in their minds. The focus of the session will be on expository essays, open ended response questions, revising and editing, and anything else students may have questions or doubts over.
On March 30, 2015: Students, please bring a sweater or jacket, the room may be cold! Be sure to bring a pencil and a highlighter. Prepare by studying notes from your journal and getting a good night sleep on the night before.
