Last night, at the 6th annual RGV Palm Awards, four Veterans Memorial High School students in the Harlequin theatre program were each awarded $40,000 scholarships from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. The scholarships were awarded based on auditions that took place on May 7th at the McAllen Convention Center, where these students also received a Broadway Triple Threat Workshop with renowned Broadway actress and AMDA alumni, Vasthy Mompoint. We are incredibly proud of these students and their hard work.
