VMHS Band Earns Sweepstakes!!!
VMHS Bands earn SWEEPSTAKES awards at UIL Concert & Sigh treading Evaluation!
On April 26th and 27th, the VMHS Symphonic Band and VMHS Honors Wind Ensemble performed at the 2022 UIL Concert & Sigh treading Evaluation held at the UTRGV Performing Arts Complex and brought home BACK TO BACK AWARDS!!!!
The VMHS Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mr. Gabriel Molina, earned a Division One SWEEPSTAKES award, which is straight Superior ratings from all 6 judges on stage and in sight-reading! (pictured below)
The VMHS Honors Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Guillermo De La Cruz III, also earned a Division One SWEEPSTAKES award, earning straight Superior ratings from all 6 judges on stage and in sight-reading! (pictured below)
